Segundo emprego - Second job

Consegui meu segundo emprego nesse final de semana. Estou trabalhando de garcom no "Isabella's Restaurant" que fica na mesma rua da minha casa. Fiz um teste e vou trabalhar la' nos dias em que o restaurante fica lotado: nas sextas, sabados e domingos depois das 18:00hs. Vou ganhar um miseria, mas pelo menos estou ganhando experiencia para proximos trabalhos.

I got my second job last weekend. I'm working as a waiter in "Isabella's Restaurant" that is in the same street as my house. I did a trial and i will be working there on the more crowded days: friday, saturday and sunday after 6:00pm. I'll be paid almost nothing, but at least I'm gaining work experience for next jobs.

(Veja os videos primeiro) Hehehehehe Arbitro de futebol... imagina so'. Nunca pensei que um dia eu iria ser arbitro. Foram quatro jogos seguidos com tempos de 25 por 25. No ultimo ja nao aguentava mais correr, mas acho que o pior (ou melhor) era prestar atencao no jogo com um monte de loira de olho azul correndo do meu lado. Nao tinha bandeirinha, nem cartao amarelo e vermelho.Varzea. Foi so' por uma noite, mas deu uma grana legal.

First job: Referee on a soccer game... can you belive it? I have never thought about being a referee. It was four games followed with times of 25 to 25. On the last one i couldn't endure more running, but the worst (or the best) was pay atention on the game with a lot of blonde girls with blue eyes running on my side. There weren't the other two referees (that run in the sides of the field) and either yellow and red card. Mess.This was only for one night, but I received a good money.

Apredende a cozinhar - Learning how to cook

No primeiro final de semana na casa nova fui almocar e jantar fora porque eu nao sei cozinhar. So' que comer fora aqui e' muito caro, por isso to aprendendo a cozinhar. Amigos estao me ajudando e minha mae mandando receita pela internet. Nao to passando fome, mas tambem nao to comendo o que quero. hehehehehe Ja' fiz macarao a bolonhesa e arroz com frango frito e ovo.

On the first weekend in my new house i went out to have lunch and dinner because i don't know how to cook. But, eating out here is too expenceive, so i'm learning how to cook. My friends are helping me and my mum is sendind some recipe by email. I'm not starving, but also not eating what I want. hehehehe. I have already done pasta a bolonhese and rice with fried chicken and egg.

8th Ritmo Brazilian Festival

Mais um festival. Desta vez foi o "8th Ritmo Brazilian Festival". Realizado sempre em setembro desde 2001 por causa do 7 de setembro. Durou o dia inteiro e tinha de tudo: comida brasiliera, musica brasileira, artesanato brasileiro, pessoas brasileira, dancas brasileiras e e' claro desorganizacao brasiliera. Apesar da desorganizacao do festival, foi muito bom e deu pra matar um pouquinho da saudades ai do Brasil.

Another festival. This time was the "8th Brazilian Festival". Done always on september since 2001 because of the September 7th (brazilian indepence day). It took the all day and there had everything: brazilian food, brazilian music,brazilian handmades, brazilian people, brazilian dance and of course the brazilian disorganization. Despite the festival disorganization, it was very good for my homesick of Brazil.

Casa nova - New House

Eu e o Natt (tailandes) comemorando nosso primeiro dia de casa nova. Neste ultimo sabado tive que mudar de casa, pois acabou meu periodo de 4 semanas na casa de familia. A partir de agora eu e o Natt dividiremos um quarto num apartamento junto com mais duas pessoas que estao aqui na Australia a 7 anos. Hendrik da Indonesia e Dennis da Malasia. Caminhada pela costa - Coastal walk

Na volta do "Festival of the Winds" que foi em Bondi Beach, resolvi voltar a pe' pra casa. Voltei pelo caminho pela costa. No total foi uma hora e meia de caminha ate Cogge Beach e mais meia hora ate minha casa. Fiz uma selecao das melhores fotos.

On the way back from the "Festival of the Winds" that was in Bondi Beach, i decided to go home on foot. I took the coastal walk. In total it was one hour and a half until Coogee Beach and more half hour to my house. There is a selection of the best pictures.

Festival of the Winds

Agora ta comecando a chegar o verao aqui e vai comecar a ter festival atras de festival. Ultimo domingo fui ao "Festival of the Winds". Foi muito legal e era um festival mais familia. Teve uma apresentacao de pipas, muitas dancas e comidas de varios paises. Bem interressante.

Now the summer is begining here so there will be a lot of festivals. Last sunday i went to the "Festival of the Winds". It was really nice and it was more like a family festival. There was a show of kites, a lot of dances and foods from different countries. Really interesting.

Neste sabado fui a um bairro portugues e brasileiro que tem aqui em Sidney. E' o melhor lugar pra se comprar comida brasileira, mas com preco gringo.

Last saturday i went to a portuguese and brazilian neighborhood that they have here in Sydney. It is the best place to buy brazilian food, but with a australian price.

Coogee Beach is very interesting

Mais uma de minhas caminhadas aqui por Sidney. Neste domingo resolvi ir a Coogee Beach, que a praia mais proxima de minha casa. Uma praia muito bonita e com algumas coisas muito interressantes tambem. Alem do que voces podem ver pelo filme, vi outras coisas incriveis, como um grupo de japoneses com media de uns 30 anos jogando queimada e um churrasco de mais ou menos uns 40 brasileiros tocando samba. FAROFA. Mas infelizmente a bateria da minha maquina acabou.

Another walk to see Sydney. Last sunday i went to Coogee Beach that is the nearest beach from my home. It is a beautiful beach with some really interesting things too. That was this thing that you can see from the movie and some others things such as a group of japones that were around 30 years old play a child game and a barbecue with around 40 brazilians playing samba. FAROFA. But unfortunately the battery of my camera was over.

Acredite se quiser - Belive me if you can

O jantar na minha casa de familia geralmente e' as 6:30 da tarde. Depois do jantar nao tenho muito o que fazer, pois ver tv australiana todo dia nao e' muito legal, nao tenho computador na casa e de vez enquando dou uma lida em jornais ou revistas. Entao o que eu estou fazendo normalmente, acredite se quiser, e': licao de casa. Isso mesmo, acho que a ultima vez que fiz isso foi a uns 8 anos atras.

Normaly the dinner in my hostfamily is around 6:30pm. Later this i don't have what to do, because the australian tv is not that funny, i don't have computer in the house and sometimes i read some magazines and newspaper. So what i'm ussualy doing, belive me if you can, is: homeworks. Yeah, i think the last time a did one was maybe 8 years ago.
